Tailgunner Ads Assistant

Tailgunner Ads Assistant is a private application built and operated by Tailgunner (tailgunner.co.nz), a New Zealand digital marketing agency. Its purpose is to let Tailgunner's approved team members securely connect AI clients that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude, to the Google Ads accounts that Tailgunner manages on behalf of its clients — so they can pull reporting and make supported campaign changes through a chat interface instead of the Google Ads UI.

What this application does

After signing in with OAuth, authorized users can:

  • Review Google Ads account structure and hierarchy
  • Run performance, keyword, and search-term reports
  • Inspect campaign, ad group, and ad details
  • Make supported changes such as updating budgets and campaign or ad status

What data it accesses and why

Tailgunner Ads Assistant requests Google Ads API access so it can read reporting data and apply approved campaign-management changes. It only accesses Google Ads data for the accounts the signed-in Tailgunner user is authorized to manage, and uses it solely for advertising reporting and management on Tailgunner's behalf.

Who can use it

Access is restricted to approved Tailgunner team members. Users must authenticate through OAuth and be allow-listed before they can use Tailgunner Ads Assistant.
